Speech Therapy

What is Speech Therapy?
Speech and Language therapy incorporates all aspects of speech and language development. A Speech-Language Pathologist is a licensed professional who is trained in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of communication disorders. They help children with various speech and language disorders and assist with articulation disorders, communication challenges, pragmatic language, fluency, oral motor abilities and receptive (what a child understands) and expressive (what a child says) language disorders. Cognitive components such as problem solving and reasoning are also addressed by speech therapists. Our Speech Therapists utilize a variety of treatment techniques in a safe, fun, play based environment to achieve age appropriate functional goals.
